A fifth generation Californian, Tasha grew up in Encinitas and on Balboa Island. She studied art in London and at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. Her path to painting highlights the restorative and joyful nature of art, even in life’s hardest moments. The week of college graduation, her father was diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. Returning home to be with him, painting became a personal solace and way of finding beauty and purpose in the process of creating. Tasha hasn’t put the paint brush down since and is honored and delighted that her work can bring a little bit of life’s magic into your life and home. Her paintings blend thoughtful detail and painterly brushstrokes. From abstract seascapes to faithfully painted orange trees, her work celebrates a colorful life lived in serenity and sunshine. When not painting, Tasha writes and illustrates children's books, combs the beach for sea glass, cuddles with her German Shepherd Tripp, and experiments with vegan recipes.
